Piquette is a fizzy beverage made by adding water grape pomace (the leftover seeds, skins and pulp that result after juice has been pressed). It's traditionally been drunk by vineyard workers in Europe - allowing for a refreshing beverage that still allows for working after consumption. We blended our piquette with riesling wine to round it out and increase all those beautiful tropical notes. We love this collaboration with Rootdown Cellars because we’re always looking for a crushable, low alcohol refreshing beverage to drink in the warm summer months.
The Riesling was harvested October 2nd 2020. Everyday it saw one "pump over" or mixing if you will just to make sure the ferment was healthy. It was on the skins for 7 days before being drained and pressed.

I have never tried wine from a can before so I was a little skeptical. I was very impressed! The Piquette was light yet full of flavor and quite refreshing! I would definitely order it again and I look forward to trying some other Nomadica selections.

This is a nice light wine. It reminds me of “orange” wines that I’ve tried. It has a bit of a tart, cidery flavor to it.
When are they getting more its the only thing I drink really haven't found that I really enjoyed the others as much

We ship to all states with the exception of Mississippi, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Utah, and Tennessee.
We specifically reduced the amount of coloring used on our packaging so they meet recycling standards. Our cans are also recyclable yes even our label. We are however working on printed cans we know this is better for our mother earth :)
