Pretty in Pink: Cooking with Rosé

There’s just something about rosé that makes life feel a little more romantic — maybe it’s the color, maybe it’s the way it pairs perfectly with sunshine and good music, or reminds you of the summer days when it starts to cool down. But here’s a secret: rosé isn’t just for sipping. It’s also amazing for cooking.

Rosé sits right between white and red — bright enough to cut through richness, but with a hint of fruitiness that makes dishes taste like summer. Whether you’re throwing together a quick weeknight dinner or hosting your friends for a laid-back evening, cooking with rosé adds instant chef energy (without needing the fancy apron).

So pour yourself a glass of Nomadica Rosé, cue the playlist, and let’s make something gorgeous:

🍅 Rosé Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes and Basil

Serves: 2
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (linguine or spaghetti work best)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ½ cup Nomadica Rosé

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional but encouraged)

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • Salt + black pepper to taste

  • Red pepper flakes for a little heat

🍳 How to Make It

  1. Sip & prep: Pour yourself a glass of rosé. If you’re cooking, you’re celebrating — that’s the rule.

  2. Start the sauce: Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  3. Add the tomatoes: Toss in the cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to burst and get saucy, about 8 minutes.

  4. Wine time: Pour in the rosé and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes. The wine will add a touch of brightness and depth that takes this sauce from simple to spectacular.

  5. Finish it up: Stir in butter, salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Toss in your cooked pasta and swirl until everything’s glossy and perfectly coated.

  6. Serve: Top with basil, Parmesan, and — obviously — another sip of Nomadica Rosé.

🌸 Pair It With

A chilled glass of Nomadica Rosé — crisp, clean, and just the right amount of fancy. It matches the light tomato sauce beautifully and keeps things fresh and fun.

💫 Why We Love Cooking with Rosé

Because life’s too short not to cook (and sip) with something beautiful. Rosé adds a gentle fruitiness and acidity that makes sauces sing, meats tender, and veggies pop. Plus, if you’re already drinking it — you’re halfway there.
