Our wines are sustainably farmed, low intervention, minimal sulfur, dry (no sugar) and vegan. Our sommelier sources universally gratifying wines; flavor profiles that are serious enough for a glass but vivacious enough to be sipped out of the can.

Meet Kristin

After earning an undergraduate degree in sustainable agriculture, Kristin spent over a decade mastering the art of sommeliership in some of America’s most prestigious restaurants. Her tenure included stints at renowned Michelin-starred establishments such as Saison, Sons & Daughters, Husk, and Osteria Mozza. However, it was a startling revelation about the environmental impact of wine packaging—specifically, the carbon footprint associated with glass bottles—that propelled Kristin to take action.

In response, Kristin founded Nomadica with a clear mission: to make exceptional wine accessible to all in eco-conscious packaging.  By introducing fine wines in innovative formats such as cans, boxes, and kegs, Nomadica is not only challenging conventional perceptions but also welcoming a fresh demographic to the world of wine. Driven by a commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, Kristin ensures that Nomadica's practices align with its values. She has been featured in Forbes, Vogue, AdWeek, Vinepair, Eater and is one of Wine Enthusiast's 40 Under 40.

Why cans?

Because we care about sustainability. Cans are 400x lighter than glass bottles, reducing emissions from shipping by up to 80%. Even the boxes we ship our wine in are designed so they are recyclable!

We choose wine varietals specifically for the can. Cans are the ideal format to preserve freshness and vibrancy; we source accordingly. We believe that drinking wine is a moment to hold the world still and stop time - our format helps us to preserve that moment, perfectly.
